The Cactus stands firm on the desert plain, juicing fluids from its desolate environment. Two solo MC's absorbed and deciphered culture from Far Rockaway to Bedford-Stuyvesant and, like the desert plant, stood alone. Predators never set it off, for all over sharp thorns protrude. All shades knowledge cactus techniques, and jet from ignorance in the desert. Inside jacket ot the Cactus Album 1989
The goal of this website is to be the most complete collection of 3rd Bass information on the internet. 1989 was the year that The Cactus Album debuted on Def Jam and there are still hard-core fans out there. I know because I'm one of them, and I'm willing to bet if you're reading this that you're one of them too. After doing countless internet searches for 3rd Bass and coming up empty handed on most occasions, I created this site. I feel it would be a shame to let one of the most underrated true rap groups from my time go unnoticed.
The message boards are available for everyone to join free of charge where you can discuss 3rd Bass. We currently have over 100 members already. Join the discussion today.
The downloads section is filled with some rare gems, including the Pop Goes the Weasel video and some rare remixes.
This website is strictly a fan site. It was created by a fan and was created for fans. There is currently no connection to 3rd Bass or Def Jam.
