Here are the questions from a couple of years ago, when I failed to get a response:

Peter Nash Interview – Thirdbass.net

Music Related Questions:

1)   Is there any hope for another Pete Nice recording? - a new single - an unreleased Dust to Dust track - a track you've produced - anything?

2)   We know that you attempted a 3rd Bass reunion album in 1999 but it fell through – what happened to derail the attempt and do you regret not finishing it?

3)   What were your inspiration/thoughts on the overall sound and lyrical tone of the Dust to Dust album? It was quite a departure to a more serious and grimy, dusty sampled sound.

4)   How far did you get with a Dust to Dust follow-up? Are there any unreleased tracks from a halted follow-up album? (Yes, we're begging for unheard material)

5)   What is your relationship with Serch and Rich like now? - is there ever talk of any type of reunion? - Could you envision yourself sharing a stage or studio time again?

6)   What is your opinion on the current state of hip-hop music? Who were your musical influences and what artists do you listen to today?

7)   What are your feelings on the legacy of 3rd Bass? Do you believe you made an impact in hip-hop?

Baseball Related Questions:

1)   How damaging is the impact of steroids in baseball? Do you find that people lose interest in the sport as a result? What are your feelings on Barry Bonds surpassing Henry Aaron's home run record?

2)   What sparked your love for the game?

Current Projects Questions:

1)   Now that you have left the music business altogether, what exactly are you up to in Cooperstown - what projects, books and movies are you currently working on?

2)   We have read that you are producing a film or documentary about Boston baseball fans and another to do with hip-hop - please tell us more about these projects and how we can support them?

3)   What is the latest news about your museum and bar projects in Cooperstown?

4)   We understand that you are a (relatively) new dad. How has that changed your perspective on life?

5)   We've noticed that you are tough to find on the net - is there a website, myspace page or email address that fans can utilize to find out more about what you're up to?

6)   Have you visited thirdbass.net in the past? How do you feel about fans admiring you so much after all these years?

2) What's the story behind the unreleased song Identical To None?
żLawson, what are you doing?

I'd be so interested to hear how much unreleased 3rd Bass/Pete Nice stuff we've never heard.

Could you ask him if he could take a guess at how much material they made that never saw the light of day?

Can't wait!!

Was Pete cool with the Beastie Boys back then?
Even when they were firing shots back and forth?  It always seemed like the Beastie Boys focus on Serch, not on Pete.
Even Professor Booty makes specific mention to Serch but nothing towards Pete.

Holy Jebus! Thanks for the hard work, and awesome news.

HUGEEEEEEEE Pete Fan(thanks Pete for granting us all an interview, we love you, and stay up man) ;D

I have a few questions:

1)How come "Ichibad's Cranium" has never been released in some form?(like MistaJoh said, we're dying for new 3B material)I know that Serch had the M.Y.L.A. release, but that was only via the net, and not in hard copy(will we ever see a physical copy of that release?)

2) Wll The Cactus cd ever get a remaster/re-release w/bonus tracks, and possible videos? I'd buy that tomorrow.

3) Do you still have any of the promo material left from "Dust To Dust", and if so, how can we purchase it?

4) Any chance, of a full on 3rd bass Reunion? (I spoke to Rich on Facebook, and he said if it were to happen, I'd have to track YOU down and ask you, he said he'd be down for it though)

Just thought of a few more:

What do you think of white rappers like: Kid Rock and Eminem?

Will we ever get a DVD release of The Cactus Vid-yo?

How was it working with Gilbert Gottfried? I bet he kept you guys all laughing?

In the Video for "Rat Bastard", at the beginning, you have a guy sitting at the table, thats a parody of Serch? My question is(and I promise to tread lightly on it-no disrespect to you): Was there beef between you and Serch @ the time, since he first put out a solo disc, and you and Rich wanted to do another 3B record? I remember when my buddies and i saw that(you eventually hit the guy over the head with a bat, and talk about you all being a team) we were all like "whoah, Serch mustve pissed Pete off".

Sorry, my question is: @ the time, WAS there beef with you and Serch? if you dont want to answer, I understand.

Just want to leave you with this:

"Prostitute yourself for the liznoot, give up the biznoot, then let 'em shoot". ;D

Why did Daddy Rich go with Pete for his solo album?

Did Pete and Rich get along better than Rich and Serch?
