Since I've put the downloads section up, the bandwidth on my site has been getting eaten up quite a bit. So far I haven't busted my limit, but it's come rather close.
About two weeks ago I recieved an email from someone named John who is also a huge 3rd Bass fan and owns dedicated web servers. He told me if I wanted to get a new domain name for 3rd Bass he would host the site for free.
So that brings us to this:
http://www.thirdbass.net/So far it is just a splash page announcing a new site coming. Eventually what will happen is when the new site is built, I will end up redirecting the old site (3rdbass.disgruntledhuman.com) to the new site. If I'm correct in assuming I know alot about these message boards, I can transfer the database to the new location as well and everyone's messages and logins will still be there, and I will redirect this page to the new site as well.
Anyway, unlimited bandwidth means more mp3's, streaming audio, and streaming video on the site. It might take a while, but I think it will be worth the wait.
