hey what's up fellow bassheads...i'm new to this board, i'm glad to see this though. yea....it was 2000 and for my graduation present my father got me in to see a reunited 3rd Bass in Southbury Conn. DJ Eclipse was spinning and it was Pete, Serch, and Stone Rivers. I swear to god that I can die happy after seeing this. I have been into 3rd Bass all my life, ,(well since 91)and i know a shit load about hip hop in general. the good thing-i got a picture with me serch and pete taken by CC Smooth in front of a huge Serchlite logo. I gotta tell u-they were the most chill people I have ever met. I gave serch a pound and told pete that I got mad love for him. I was expecting a reunion album-but hey, you gotta put first things first. (Family,etc...) MC Serch is definately one of the good guys in hip hop, and I would love to finally see some new tracks put to life. I'm 24 now, and the first thing I bought from 3rd Bass, was Portrait of the Artist As A Hood remix single, and from that moment on I've been a die hard fan. My favorite tracks are Product of the Environment remix, POTAAH remix, No Master Plan No Master Race, Kick Em In the Grill, Gasface-(of course), Sons of 3rd Bass, Soul in the Hole, Brooklyn Queens, and shit... the list goes on...I think a "best of" is long overdue, I've made many mixtapes in the past and the music is still relevent to this day. my dream would be to have an internship or promotion job concerning Serchlite....... well.....peace and blessings I'm out like 3 strikes......(no pun intended), and yes meeting and seeing a breifly reunited 3rd Bass was the best present anyone could ever recieve(thank you dad). 1
