You just gotta dig a bit deeper - MF Doom, dangerdoom, Blend crafters, madlib, Edan, Quasimoto, aspects, Qantic, Katalyst, Masta Ace new stuff, Paul Nice feat. Biz Markie, DITC, etc., Foreign Legion, PUTS. Theres still good music out there being produced, it just doesnt fit into that MTV stereotype so you've gotta look to find it - maybe even try some over seas acts, some of them seem to be closer to the old school mentallity than some of the artists that come from the states these days.
Another thing is to keep open minded ears (if that makes sense) like when you were isteneing to stuff as a kid - like it's your first time in a way and don't dismiss something because it doesn't sound like that 90's feel or whatever - music will allways move on and evolve.
New Large Professor 12" is nice. My prediction is that heaps of the late 80's / early 90's rappers will be making comebacks now, they'll realise that there's money to be made for bringing back that old feeling.
