I purchased the "Hail To The Chief" 12" directly from Serchlite about 2 weeks a go. It arrived yesterday and the sleeve was signed by Serch in silver sharpie marker. My question is has anyone else seen or heard of this before?

Yes - that 12" was basically a promo release in 2000 - was supposed to get the DJs and PDs hyped about the Ichabod Cranium LP - which of course, was never completed or released.

I know alot of the stuff coming out of Serchlite is personalized by Serch - an autograph or a quick note. He's the type of guy who goes out of his way to extend a friendly vibe.

When I worked in radio, he would call the station with promotions and would talk to us for a while about all types of stuff - just a really down to earth, friendly guy. He even let me record an interview with him once - good dude.

I'm sure if you emailed him before placing an order, he would do his best to get you an autograph.
