This is just a test and I'll have to see how my bandwidth holds up, but I put a few mp3's up on the main site. I stuck them in the Lyrics section at the bottom. Here's what are in there at the moment.

I've got the Pete Nice Rat Bastard track not featuring Psycho Les, and I've also got the instrumental of that track

I've got the Ace in the Hole song. This version does not have the distortion at the end when Pete is calling out names. He does shout out the Cracker Jacks.

I've got the Bring 'em Home Safely song from Chubb Rock's CD featuring 3rd Bass.

I've got the Puff the Head song from Serch from the Zebrahead soundtrack.

There is a freestyle with MC Serch and Kurupt from the Wake Up Show on there. It is a little over four minutes with Serch only doing the first 1 1/2 minutes.

And finally I've got 3rd Bass' Hail to the Chief up from their brief reunion back in 99/2000.

If I get ahold of any rare tracks like Serch's early stuff or other unreleased 3rd Bass stuff I will post it there also.

Melissa by Serch is THE WORST SONG I HAVE EVER HEARD. Try listening to that during your morning commute and you will be very angry. It's obvious he was trying to mimic Slick Rick. Ice Ice Baby was not this bad. Sorry, but I have to be honest.

Webmaster, please post that song I sent you so that others can understand where I'm coming from. Thanks!

There are 4 additional Serch songs posted now along with the ones I put up last night. They are:Melissa, Contact, Hey Boy and Beware of Death.

When I listen to these it almost sounds to me like he was trying to find his voice. He does sound like Slick Rick on Melissa and on Hey Boy he almost has a Fresh Prince sound coming out. Then on Beware of Death he almost has a Licensed to Ill music going on in the background... very reminiscent of that, he even says that those Beastie Boy's ain't got nothin on me.

I love Beware of Death, Puff the Head, and especially Rat Bastard. Recently, I ordered used CDs of "Dust to Dust" and "Return of the Product", so I can listen to them thoroughly.

disgruntled: I agree fully. Beware of Death sounds like a clone of Rock Hard, which was an unreleased Beastie track with an AC/DC guitar play as the beat. It was going to appear on Licensed to Ill, but because AC/DC wouldn't allow them to use the sample, it got canned. I have it. Good song.

Will you be putting those back up?  I'm really interested in hearing some of those songs.  Thanks.

I'll give Serch credit - he did an amazing 360 between "Melissa" and "Puff the Head" which is very good. Was Serch on crack when he recorded Melissa? No I think he heard Lo Di Do Di way too many times in a row.
