Haven't checked Serch's MySpace page for a while - three new entries. We learn that Serch has been given a trail run on an afternoon slot at Hot 102.7 in Detroit, there will be no White Rapper 2 but Miss Rap Supreme premieres April 7th on VH1, Serch is not certain who is going to get his support in the presidential election and Serch dodges his most frequently asked question ... WHEN IS THE NEW SHOW COMING OUT?!?

Greetings:

As always I hope this email finds you in good health and spirits. I first want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. I celebrated the 08 in Oak Harbor, Washington (The State) at a club called ELEMENT. Hot spot about an hour outside of Seattle. Trust me, on Friday night when DJ B Mello is in the building, you want to be part of the foundation, trust. Had a grea time and shout out to the owners who were top notch and the new years' revelers who were ready to get it mom and poppin.

The most common question for me, second to "when is the 3rd Bass reunion going to happen" is "When is the new show coming out" or "when is White Rapper 2 coming out" or "can I audition for White Rapper 2". The answer to so many of you who ask is a simple one, or two depending on how many questions you ask.

There is no White Rapper 2 coming out. Sorry to dissappoint those who want it so bad. So, no, there is no auditon for WHite Rapper 2, again so sorry to dissappoint.

However, there is a season two of Ego Trips show on Vh1 coming Monday nights starting April 7th. The show is called Ego Trips: Miss Rap Supreme. That 's right ladies, it is prime time for you to get your shine. Too many ladies have been passed up by the industry so the guys at Ego Trip figured it is time to let you guys have your shine.

The premise of the show is simple. We traveled to ten cities across the US, shout out to Radio One who helped get the ladies with thier stations in Atlanta, Phillie, Houston and LA, to find the hottest females MC's. We brought them to LA and out of hundreds, picked ten. They represented all the different parts of Rap. They came out to be crowned Miss Rap Supreme and get that shine as well as 100,000 in cash. They lived together, rhymed together, and on several occasions, did other things together. Through it all, these females truly represnted the ladydom of Femcees.

So I hope this answers your questions. The show will be on stating Monday Nights at 10pm, April 7th on VH1. I know I will hear from you all about the show. The good, the bad, and the nonsense and I say bring it on. I want to hear it

As always I hope this finds you in good health and spirits. Thanks to so many of you that listened into my show on Hot 102.7 in Detroit today. Many of you called in and got shout outs and some of you sent me a well wish to the hot1027detroit.com website. Many blessing for all of that, for it is truly appreciated. I will be on the station for another two weeks and then who knows. We will see.

One of the letters that I got today was from Phil in Baltimore (Shout out to 92Q WERQ and my girl Neke at Night and DJ Squirrel Wide over there). Phil asked me to write about what is going on in politics today and that if we could have an open dialog about it. I was unsure of what to write. There are so many things to talk about, and I have found for a blog to be truly effective you should try to focus you topic, and idea, to just one thing. I know, I know, we should talk about Barack. I think about his campaign and all the 16 year old volunteers who are going door to door for him and think to myself "Self, I don't think that if a 15 or 16 year old came to my door on behalf of Barack Obama I would take them seriously". 16 year olds cannot vote. A friend of mine just volunteered his time to be a precinct manager and he told me today that he basically watches over a phone bank of 16 year olds who make cold calls on behalf of Barack. Seriously when was the last time that you took a 16 year old serious about politics…Really?!? Not saying that a 16 year old cannot be passionate about politics. I am sure there are very serious 16 year olds who care about what voting will mean to them. But really?? It seems that the younger generation that is rooting for Barack Obama might be too young to vote for him.

Then I thought about writing about Hilary Clinton. Again way too easy. She has all the trimmings to be a great president. She has the foreign experience, she has dealt with adversity and carried on with great esteem and balance, she is passionate about education. But when you get right down to it, Hilary is a sellout. When she had the chance to make a radical change in this country when her husband was president, she caved. She could have single handedly created socialized health care for all Americans. She was very close. The only one who didn't want to see it happen, Besides Edgar Kaiser (Who started the whole HMO business with Nixon back in 74), is well, all the politicians who were paid off by big business Health Insurance. They got on TV and scared the crap out of non educated Americans, who saw these elected officials on the tube, and when they started to break down the work Socialized to mean Socialist, like a Socialist Government (Which by the way, would not be so bad) these Americans made so much noise that she caved. They all were like "OOOH, BIG BAD SOCIALISTS, THAT SOUNDS LIKE A BAD WORD…I DON"T LIKE IT". Well that and that big business Health gave her like 500,000 dollars in financial support. I just worry that if she could be bought off by big Health Insurance for only 500,000 grand, then what would she take to sell out our other holdings, like Social Security (See there it is again, the ugly word SOCIAL, quick get a pitch fork and storm the village, there a SOCIAL in there). In the case of the democrat who I trust more, I would have to say….MY wife Chantel. Lets all vote for her. She cannot be bought and she cannot be told what to do. In fact I am gong to vote for her this coming election LOL.

I guess the other side of the fence aint so pretty either. Romney, Giuliani, Cain (Alright I like Cain, but only because he thugged it out as a POW for 5 years and ate mud and sticks and lived to tell about it. He is a real G). Huckabee scares the crap out of me. If we are to separate Church and State then we cannot have a minister as President. I don't think we should have a Mormon (Romney) either. I mean what if he spazzed out and decided that he wanted to wife up like three other chicks while President. He could do that in Utah on the low and be the first Pimp President (Well Clinton was…no that would be JFK.) in office. Getting back to Huckabee for a second, his whole stance on being pro life is just not a good look for America. Like take for example what happen in North Carolina last week with the Marine who was killed by her married lover, by burning her body with her unborn baby in her stomach. This woman was 81/2 months pregnant, and the state of NC is now on a manhunt to find this piece of trash. When they find him he will be tried for Manslaughter. One count of Manslaughter. Is anyone catching this? He killed this woman and her baby who was going to be born in less then two weeks, a fully developed young life in her womb and when he is captured he will stand trial for one count of Manslaughter. Want to know why? Because the State law in NC states that you cannot count a child in the womb in a count of manslaughter as a life. BUT THIS IS A PRO LIFE STATE, IS IT NOT. If you count the life of an unborn baby in the great old state of North Carolina to life by sixteen weeks and don't allow a mother the choice of how to handle an unwanted pregnancy, then shouldn't the life be considered in , I don't' know, A MURDER TRIAL?!?!?!?. The bottom line in the war on pro choice/pro life is really a very simple one if you ask me. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TELL SOME ONE ELSE WHAT THEY CAN AND CAN'T DO WITH THEIR BODY. IT IS THERE BODY, NOT YOURS. MIND YOUR F&^KING BUSINESS AND KEEP IT MOVING. Woman, this is your body and os it is your choice and no one, NO ONE, has the right to tell you what to do with it. If you want to have the baby, fine, if not fine. Those choices should be your to make since it is your body. Many of you are like, but what about the guy, doesn't he have a say? Well, no he doesn't. It his not his body that is carrying that baby. That sperm is useless with out the mothers' egg. That egg is hers. She has final say. In case of tie, winner is the woman, end of discussion. Huckabee going around preaching is for a church, not for the head of state, sorry.

So what is there really left to talk about. Well all of this makes me realize that this blog is for you to talk to each other, I will fill in the gaps when I can. But please be informative and be respectful of others and their ideals. We all must learn to maintain when it comes to the ideas of others. If you can't learn from someone else you are doomed to be the idiot you are today.

Who ever you vote for, whenever you vote, in what ever state you're in, please be informed. Know which private businesses have bought your politician. Know what special interest groups have leant their "Support" for their campaign. Who cut the checks to whom? That is one thing I give to Barack Obama. He raised over 30 million dollars to run his campaign and none of it was from special interest groups. That is something. The rest can't say the same.

And when in doubt, vote for Ralph Nader
