This fat fuck is classic.
Great interview....

http://www.adammansbach.com/other/interview-serch.html

From the interview:

(regarding Haystak and the Crazy White Boy)
It’s a movement of racist white boys who claim they’re not racist, but know that if it came down to a race revolution they would pick white over black. My answer to them is no, you can’t claim me; I am not white and you can’t claim me just because I have a hit show with the word white in the title. I’m not one to claim I’m a white man just because I have a lack of melanin. The bottom line is the white man would come kill me ’cause I’m a Jew.

Serch is losing it in his old age....well, he never really had much to lose, but still...
Damnit.
I so wish Everlast would have beat the shit out of him when he had the chance.

I think it's very clear who was the driving force of intelligence in the group ... unfortunately, he's a bit of a recluse and we've been cut-off from his wisdom.    (no, not Daddy Rich)

BTW - Whaddup Jorge! Hope you and your fam are all good. That article is a pissa (as Serch's non-white, Jewish Bubbe would say).

Serch is a confusing guy - occasionally he makes sense, other times he's the dancing fool. Just when I start digging him again, he makes shit statements like this - G-d Damn dude, leave the philosophy to KRS-ONE and concentrate on getting a reunion tour together.

This was a great interview. I need to read it again because it was so bizarre but Serch definitely has issues. Pretty funny though!

Does anyone know whether Pete was in fact Jewish ? I couldn't really tell and for some reason I didn't think he was since he went to a Catholic high school, but I could be wrong.

Whaddup Jericho.

Pete's not Jewish - I *believe* of English, Irish or Scottish decent.

What's up, MistaJohn?

Things are going pretty good for my wife and I.  I'm a lucky guy (and unrightfully so) to have her in my life.

How's everything with you?
I went out last friday, don't know what the hell I was thinking.  But I haven't been that sick in years.  Felt like I was drinking ipecac all night long.  I haven't puked like that since college.  Too old for that shit I guess.  Wasn't supposed to be that kind of night.  Supposed to be just a relaxing night with some friends.  Many shots later the course of history took an unexpected turn.  Should have been there.

Hey MistaJohn !

Thanks for the reply ! I knew it along Pete wasn't Jewish ! Thanks for confirming that I am not a psycho.

I don't know why all this time I heard stuff on tv, or interviews that 3rd Bass was Jewish. It didn't make sense to me especially since he went to Bishop Ford High School in Brooklyn (Catholic) where his dad was the basketball coach.

What does this all mean ? Not that I have anything against Pete being Jewish or not but it confirms that I am not crazy. I never knew a Jewish person with the last name of Nash.

But Serch is crazier than all of us. I haven't watched his latest VH-1 show but I appreciate the fact that he still loves old school hip hop. He must have had serious identity crisis issues around the late 80s early 90s in NYC with all the racial tension.

Jorge - I'm glad things are going well. Everything over here is swell - almost too good (I start getting nervous when everything is roses).

Jericho - Yeah, I really try hard to like Serch. I certainly respect him for his accomplishments in the industry but he always seems to be trying too hard to fit in. To use one of his classic lines - He's frontin' like the great pumpkin. I do have to give him props on his TV hosting skillz - my wife made me watch most of Miss Rap Supreme and he saved the show.

Like you said, Jericho - he's spent 20+ years in a racial identity crisis and now a mid-life crisis is probably being thrown into the mix.
