I was up last night thinkin about the group The Afros http://www.amazon.com/Kickin-Afrolistics-Afros/dp/B000008CQB/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1269458538&sr=1-1 . I can't think of the name of the video they had out, but I know Serch was in it. Does anyone else remember this?  huh I know most of you guys are true hip hop heads (I like to consider myself one as well), and I know at least one of you have to remember that. Serch was in the video wearing a afro wig, and jumping all around. I can't recall if he rhymed on the track or not, but I don't think he did. I know I'm not going crazy in my old age ........so anyone?   BTW, speaking of Srech, who remembers his little, and I mean little parts, on The Gravediggaz track "Trippin"?  Grin

Hey Mitch - Whaddup buddy?

The video was "Feel It" - right?

That Afros album was actually pretty good - Hurricane was the Beastie Boys DJ, so it was sort of interesting that Serch was in the video. Wasn't Flav in the video too?

I have the Gravediggaz CD and remember seeing his name listed but I have never actually listened to the track... now I will have to.

Never heard it but I remember playing Return Of The Product for a couple of friends in 1999 and one of them somehow took his "I like Cypress Hill but don't have to smoke blunts" line as a anti-weed stand. He was all like "But he was on the Gravediggaz album coughing on a blunt!" lol

I remember Serch wearing the afro wig in the video for the song I thought was called "Pump it Up with the 'Fros". I had just started to discover 3rd Bass so after seeing him in the Gas Face video and in this one, I said this is a pretty interesting clown with glasses. Serch was indeed entertaining.

Serch had a track with some relatively unknown white mc (at the time): Sabac

Pete had a track with some relatively unknown white mc (at the time): Cage

on both of their solo albums.  Only difference being that Cage was on Pete's album.

Obviously both were looking for some more talent to push and no offense to Sabac - but he didn't have it.
